"The Sleepers Cottage" 2-6 people w/ free parking

Very lovely, we had a great time Positive: Comfy, well equipped, and perfect location. Negative: Slightly drafty so hard to control the temperature

Positive: Good location. Well appointed Negative: Parking space for a small car only, would be no good for a 4x4 or MPV. Everything was on line. A printed version would have been preferred. Large commercial dustbin right outside the door and a table and chairs that you couldn't have used because of the bin and where your car was parked. No response from the owners when we arrived and had problems. Tried phoning and contacting through suggested means but got nothing back. Front door lock needs attention. Would be a real issue in the event of a fire if you can't unlock it, as we found out several times. (The key does not turn)

Perfectly relaxing. Positive: Lovely cottage, everything you could possibly need. super homely feel. Facilities supplied are spot on in the kitchen and bathroom, we wanted for nothing. Location to the centre and parking also a great plus. Negative: NA

We did enjoy our stay, the location is perfect. Positive: Location of the cottage is perfect. The cottage was nice and clean, lovely kitchen the coffee machine is a nice touch (instructions would be nice). Bedding and towels were higher end and nice. Loved the chairs and cushions. Plenty of cereal choices and milk too. Laundry facilities were great and having detergent available is a really good . Negative: Layout didn’t flow. No tv in the bedroom and no information left out with WiFi passwords, signal is really poor in Chester so WiFi is needed. Bathroom is dated and shower isn’t powerful at all, the property is cold. A welcome pack with key information would improve some aspects. Severe lack of mirrors in the bedroom nowhere to do your hair (our visit was for the races) the sofa is in need of cleaning (cream) and isn’t very comfortable to relax on. Metal staircase is very awkward and uncomfortable. Suitcase remained downstairs.

Positive: Hosts very responsive which we really appreciate. Easy to find, easy parking and in a great location - it was a quick walk into the city and a quick (reasonable cost too) taxi ride to Chester Zoo where we were attending a wedding. Not being in the middle of the city it was very quiet at night. Great to have breakfast, tea, coffee etc provided. Negative: Slightly minor gripe that the duvets were far too heavy for the time of year, we were very hot!
